How do you see beer connected to the Australian way of life?
As we know, beer has always been a part of the Australian social landscape. It is something that is used as a central point when socialising - whether that’s a regular Sunday afternoon with family, or a long-overdue catch-up with beloved friends. It is a point of connection, and is really something that forms a part of that Australian sensibility of mateship.
Beer is also for everyone, and it doesn’t discriminate, which I think speaks to the Australian values of inclusivity and equality.
Today, I think beer’s position in Australia has evolved further. It’s not just a drink to be downed at barbecues. It’s a way of appreciating unique flavours, purposefully matching the diverse foods we all enjoy, and savouring the moment with those we love.

If you could pick a Chuck & Sons beer to experience again for the first time, which would you choose?
I think it would have to be our Two-World Pale Ale. It was one of the first beers we brewed, with the brief being based on my favourite style of beer. The fact that we created something that was better than I ever could have dreamed of was a very happy moment for me.
