About the Role
Maison Balzac has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and reliable Casual Boutique Sales Assistant to join our Sydney Boutiques in Surry Hills and The Strand. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic salesperson with an interest in our product and the ability to work independently.
Working on a casual basis, you will provide excellent service and create memorable experiences for our loyal customers and those discovering Maison Balzac. Reporting to the Boutique Manager, you will be expected to have flexible availability over the weekends, some weekdays and public holidays. As this is a casual role, the hours available each week depend on the needs of the business and would suit someone with other supplementary employment or interests who is seeking flexible and varied casual daytime work.
The successful candidate will have an energetic, vibrant and hands-on approach to work.
What you will need:
Prior experience in retail sales or customer service, with a genuine interest in retail.
Authentic people skills and confidence to meet sales targets whilst creating an exceptional customer experience.
Be responsible for store operations including point of sale processing, opening and closing procedures and stocktakes.
Reliability and trustworthiness to work autonomously.
Positive and respectful communication skills to interact with customers, suppliers and other staff in an effective and professional manner.
Exceptional attention to detail to handle new stock deliveries and implement Visual Merchandising direction.
